More of a cafe than a restaurant, serving a wide selection of food and drinks. Usually one vegan and two vegetarian main dishes, served with a selection of salads and new potatoes. The two person tasting platter is fantastic, as are the vegan cakes. Also serves alcohol.

A small and friendly cafe, which also opens some evenings. The food is fresh and well prepared, with a reasonable selection of vegan dishes.

Cafe Heart

A small cafe/take away which is highly recommended for lunch. Friendly staff, and well presented and interesting food. Large selection of herb teas, smoothies and fresh juices. Salads, sandwiches and soya milk.

Mojos Music Cafe

Location: Northway (near Stephen Joseph), Open: Daytime, Typical meal: £4-6

A funky cafe/ record shop with a reasonble selection of vegan dishes. Bagels and sandwiches with hummus and roasted vegetables, veggie breakfasts and spuds. Probably offers the best place selection of vegetarian options in Scarborough. Check out the music there on Wednesday afternoons.
